We're still months away from getting back to "normal" in
response to COVID-19 which has upended virtually every aspect of
business operations, including training and development.
Travel-related training is virtually nonexistent these days.
When is that likely to change? I'm interested in hearing from
T&D pros about their plans for travel policies for 2021 and
beyond. What have you learned over the past year about
whether/not travel-related training will return? How has COVID
impacted your travel-related training budgets? How will your
budgets be impacted in the future? Do you anticipate that
training will resume? When/how and with what guidelines and
policies in place? How does this apply to travel for employees
going to other offices, or for visiting customers/business
partners?
