I'm working on a story for Innovation, HP's corporate magazine,
about how record numbers of women are being forced out of the
workforce right now due to the pandemic. The story will explore
how new tools can be harnessed to retain women, and re-engage
those who have been out of the workforce for years.
I'm looking to speak with a woman working in the private sector
(industries like technology and business would be ideal for the
focus of this particular story) who lost her job during the
pandemic and is currently in training for a career pivot.
I would also be interested in talking to a woman who has been
out of the workforce for a long time, but is looking for work
again and can speak to particular "upskilling" tools or
platforms that have made the transition and retraining process
easier.
I'm looking for an anecdotal example of this experience, rather
than an expert/academic perspective. Thank you!
