The FDA released a report saying they are changing the
regulations of French dressing, along with other products. This
dressing no longer has to rely on being made of 35% vegetable
oil, the report saying that previous regulations made it "too
strict" for company innovation. Now companies can add a ton of
fillers into their dressings--artificial ingredients, sugar,
etc. Please comment as to why this new regulation makes the
dressing more unhealthy and any specifics as to how the poor
nutrition effects one's body.

What are some signs of cocaine addiction that are not as well

Of all the over-the-top beauty trends, I find the the ones meant
to improve the appearance of your vagina most disheartening.
Can't I just unproblematically love my labia? Akin to this,
there's also a trend of natural products meant to cure some
issues that most of us go to doctors for. I would like to ask a
gynecologists what it is okay/safe/recommended to apply in and
outside of a vagina.
Here are my Qs: 1. What is your name, pronouns, title, location,
and any academic affiliation? 2. Is it okay to put yogurt in
your vagina? Will this actually help a yeast infection? Are
there any potential side effects? 3. Is it okay to use garlic to
treat UTIs and bacterial infections? Is it effective? Any side
effects? 4. What about jade eggs? These are meant to strengthen,
but I have also read that they may not be sanitary. What do you
think? 5. What about using tea tree oil suppositories for UTIs
and bacterial infections? Is this okay? 6. What about vulva
sheet masks? I found one that use activated charcoal as an
ingredient and that seems like kind of an intense thing to put
on a delicate area. 7. What do you think of these trends,
generally? 8. Anything else?
I am working on a quick deadline and I don't need long answers,
so please respond to this thread directly with your answers to
these questions. THANK YOU!

Gift giving is a love language. It's one I deeply respect, but I
have some people in my life who gift me in a way that feels a
little boundary crossing. Like, if they give me a gift, do I
have to give them a gift? Is receiving a gift an obligation to
answer when they call? How can I set boundaries with aggressive
gift givers that don't rupture the relationship? I'd like to
talk to psychologists about this.
Please reply directly to the questions in this thread. THANK YOU.
Questions: 1. What's your name, pronouns, title, location, and
any academic affiliation? 2. Why might I find it so hard to
accept gifts that I don't want? Is this just a personal
irritation? 3. Can gift giving be seen as a way of boundary
crossing or emotional manipulation? Am I paranoid for thinking
this? 4. What obligations does receiving a gift create? 5. What
is a kind way of telling someone that you don't want them to
give you a gift? 6. If you receive a gift that you really don't
want, what should you do? Give it back? Regift? 7. Other
thoughts?

Dating is complicated, even for the sanest among us. I consider
myself pretty emotionally intelligent, but I have found
negotiating the world of dating as a person who is actively
dealing with trauma, well, pretty triggering. It seems like we,
as a culture, have come a long way in learning how to deal with
trauma. There's trauma-informed everything everywhere, from yoga
to every kind of health care. We talk about trauma all the time,
it seems. But all this talk doesn't seem to have reached the
dating world. I'd like to talk to a psychologist who specializes
in trauma about what trauma-informed dating might look like.
Please respond to my questions directly in this thread. THANK
YOU.
Here are my questions: 1. What's your name, pronouns, title,
location, and any academic affiliation? 2. Do you think there's
a need for people who are dating to be trauma informed? 3. What
do people need to know? 4. If you have trauma and you're dating,
how should you talk to a potential partner about it? When? What
should you say? 5. Do you have any favorite resources about
trauma informed dating? 6. Do you think that people who have
experienced a lot of trauma have a shot at healthy
relationships? 7. What do they need to do to make that happen?
8. Anything else?

Query:
I write a regular column on meetings for Forbes. I'm looking for
insight into how football teams and coaches run meetings. I'm
ideally looking for: a) What is the typical structure of
football meetings? (Is it 5 people in a room or 20, 50? Is it
all PowerPoint? Is it one person talking or do 50 people talk?)
b) What coaches and teams (and perhaps players on their own) are
doing or have done to innovate on the format or function of
meetings? I'm especially interested if it's not all top-down
(e.g., the head coach tells the assistant coaches what to tell
the players who just sit and listen). Do coaches solicit
ideas/suggestions from players? I'd be especially interested in
the use of small groups vs big groups, peer
sharing/collaboration, brainstorming, use of new methods or
technology, etc.
Do today's football meetings basically look the same as they
would have looked 10 or 50 years ago?
Are those meetings good or bad, boring or engaging? Are they as
effective as they could be?
As a coach, how do you learn how to hold meetings?
I'm mostly thinking of practice, film study, and other prep
meetings as opposed to in-game huddles or sideline talks, but
I'm open to both. I'm interested in the team itself versus the
front-office machinations; yes to meetings with players and
coaches, no to team executives in a boardroom.
I'm not really interested in motivational speaking, locker room
pep talks, and the like. Instead I'm looking for how teams plan,
set tactics and strategy as an organization. I'd prefer to
hear from people who have coached or played at the professional
level (i.e., NFL), but also open to other levels.
Please include (a) your football credentials/experience and (b)
some of your ideas or experiences with meetings in a football
setting. American football only; I am NOT interested in other
sports, trainers, doctors, etc. No phone pitches.
