Business and Finance

1) Summary: A 2021 Guide to Demand Generation

Name: Patricia Staino Motley Fool - The Blueprint

Category: Business and Finance

Email: query-bpfp@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: Motley Fool - The Blueprint

Deadline: 7:00 PM EST - 7 January

Query:

I am writing an article for small business owners explaining
demand generation, why they might consider it, and how to do it
well. I want them to gain an understanding of what it is, what
they need to get started with it, and how to create a good
mobile marketing strategy. Questions I need answered are:

-What is demand generation? (Please do not cut and paste from
Wikipedia. Use your own words.) -What are some demand generation
strategies (methods for achieving demand generation)? Please
name them and briefly explain, with real-world examples, if
possible. (I would like to include at least three in the
article.) -What are some demand generation best practices (tips
for optimizing demand generation efforts?) I'd like to include
at least three; please name the tip and briefly describe. -What
is the marketing team's role in demand generation? -How does
marketing automation software help facilitate demand generation?
-How can you use the marketing research process to support
demand generation? -How do you identify and define your target
market? -What is demand creation? Is it different from demand
generation? If so, how do you achieve this? -Does demand
generation marketing make sense for small businesses? Why or why
not?

I realize that's a lot of questions, so if you are short on
time, please feel free to only tackle those that you feel play
to your strengths or encompass your area of expertise.

Requirements:

I'm looking for advertising and marketing experts who frequently
work with small business owners on marketing programs, or small
business owners who have experience with demand generation.
Please answer some of the above questions, if possible, in your
response, so I can gage if your experience is relevant to my
audience--you don't need to answer every question, but the more
info you respond with, the likelier I will be to follow up with
you. It's better to answer a few questions in detail rather than
answer all the questions with a phrase or sentence. Remember
that this audience is probably not overly technical, and they
may not have a lot of experience with digital advertising, so
please answer these key questions in plain language, not jargon.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
