1) Summary: Cosigner Rights for Car Loans

Name: Daniel Mattia RateGenius

Category: Travel

Email: query-bm40@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: RateGenius

Deadline: 11:00 PM EST - 30 November

Query:

Many cosigners will agree to cosign for a car loan without
understanding their rights in the event the original borrower
stops paying or defaults on the loan. Understanding what
solutions exist to get the loan back on track and/or undo/stop
the damage done to the cosigner's credit is important, so expert
advice is appreciated for questions along the lines of:

* Do I share equal responsibility for paying a loan I've
cosigned?

* If the primary borrower stops paying the loan, can I take
ownership of the car if I continue payments? * Is my credit
weighed or considered as heavily as the borrower's when
cosigning a loan?

* What can I do if the borrower refuses to remove me from the
loan after they've stopped making payments?

* Can any of my personal property be used as collateral in the
event the primary borrower stops paying?

* Is it possible for me to remove myself as a cosigner without
permission from the borrower?

Thank you!

Requirements:

Lenders, legal specialists, and experts familiar with loans and
cosigners' rights

Name: Christopher Elliott USA Today

Category: Travel

Email: query-bm4h@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: USA Today

Deadline: 7:00 PM EST - 1 December

Query:

I'm researching a story about travel in 2021 and the
availability of COVID-19 vaccines. From travelers, I'd love to
know if you would get a vaccine in order to travel. Do you think
people who aren't vaccinated should be allowed to travel? From
travel experts, I'd be interested in your perspective on this
issue. What will vaccine passports look like? When will they
become available? Who should get one? What are the risks and the
benefits?

Deadline: 7:00 PM EST - 1 December

Query:

I'm researching a story about the first place people will go
when the pandemic ends. Where will you go? What will you do? And
why did you choose that place? I'd love to hear from travelers
about their favorite destinations and why they plan to go there
the moment they get the "all clear." From travel experts, I'm
interested in know if there's a list or research on the top
post-pandemic "bucket list" type vacations. What makes them so
desirable? What are the risks in going there after the pandemic
ends?
