I'm working on a feature for NYT Travel about "the cancelers" --
people who basically spent all year canceling their trips.
Perhaps it started with cancellations in March or April, and now
these people are looking at the rising virus numbers and
deciding to cancel their holiday or early 2021 plans.

Requirements:

I'm interested in three types of sources: - anecdotal sources
(the cancelers themselves) who can speak not only about the
trips they were supposed to take, but some of the hoops they had
to jump through in recouping funds or credit for their
reservations. The more detail, the better! - industry
perspective (how this sort of booking activity has affected a
travel company's financial health this year, how it has adjusted
cancellation policies to account for the new reality) - data
that speaks to the overwhelming volume of canceled bookings (I
have a lot already, but open to seeing anything particularly
interesting or new)
