I'm looking for some physicians or nurse practitioners who've
taken on some locum tenens assignments and can provide a little
insight from their experience to help others navigate the
process. OR, I'm looking for someone within a healthcare system
or organization that hires locum tenens providers who could
field a few questions.

If you're a provider, I want to find out how you navigated the
licensure process. Did you only apply for jobs in states where
you had a license? Or did you need to apply for a license in
another state? How did that go? What was the hardest part about
getting a license to practice in another state? Did anyone help
you? What would you advise a new provider do to make the
licensure process go more smoothly or efficiently? And would you
take a job in another state in the future if you had to go
through another licensing process again?

For hospitals or healthcare organizations that are doing the
hiring, I'm also interested in your take. What are your
preferences when it comes to hiring temporary/locums staff
(doctors and NPs)? Do you prefer to work with agencies that have
already vetted the providers and made sure they are licensed and
credentialed beforehand? Or do you prefer to get more involved
in the licensure process? What advice would you give to a
physician or NP in another state who might be a candidate for a
locums job at your facility? (For example, Is the licensing
process in your state a particularly lengthy one--and should
they get started ASAP?)

Basically, I want to be able to give some good solid guidance to
anyone who might be considering a locum tenens position in the
future and who may not be aware of all that is involved in
getting licensed to practice in another state (or more than one
state).

from a hotel room during the pandemic, perhaps sparked by the
fact that hotels have reduced rates or introduced specific
work-from-here initiatives. We'll want to interview them about
it, and explain how they use the room(s), and what
personalization or homey touches they insist on when
working/living from the space.

The key here is real life people who are following this
practice; I'm not looking for pitches about a marketing program
by a hotel unless there is a real life client attached and
available to speak on-record about the experience as outlined
above. All hotels we feature must be within the Tri-State area
