which is a new media outlet from the owners of Politico. The
story involves how grocery chains fared during COVID-19 in terms
of which technologies worked and which ones didn't and why. The
story will look at three timeframes: The initial days of
COVID-19; roughly today; and projections of what will likely hit
grocery IT people next year. We're looking for analysts,
consultants, grocery execs (especially IT), academics and even
some specialized vendors (ones working closely with grocers
during these periods). If interested, please send over thoughts
from the prospective source on what worked and critically what
didn't. What surprises did they encounter? What lessons learned
for execs in other verticals? As always, we're looking for
insights that our readers haven't yet heard and, ideally, would
surprise them. We'll choose who to interview based on the
insights shared.
