1) Summary: Seeking commentary on Bitcoin as a 'safe-haven'/'store-of-value'Name: Rachel McIntosh Finance Magnates
Category: High TechEmail: query-bkwe@helpareporter.net
Media Outlet: Finance Magnates
Deadline: 11:00 PM EST - 19 November
Query:
1. There has been a demonstrated surge in institutional
investors' interest in Bitcoin over the last several months. Is
this due to BTC's growing status as a "safe-haven" or
"store-of-value" asset?
2. Can Bitcoin really be called a "safe-haven" or
"store-of-value" asset?
3. Will Bitcoin ever play a role as a transactional asset
("digital cash") in the future? Or is its role as a "digital
gold" more or less established at this point?
4. What does Bitcoin's status as a safe haven asset mean for the
price of BTC over the short term/long term?
5. Other thoughts?

Last week blockchain platform YieldWars announced the launch of
a Trump/Biden race prediction market using Associated Press as a
data source. The announcement raised mixed reaction in the
community, with many experts questioning the validity of such a
source.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/critics-grumble-as-yieldwars-uses-ap-election-call-as-an-oracle
I'd like to hear professional thoughts on the matter. Here're
the questions:
1) Does this call suggest that the time for blockchain in
elections has come?
2) What method of verification of election results might be more
reliable and easy-to-implement in the short term: - Voting on
the blockchain with a user's vote directly recorded in the
blockchain - Traditional voting using oracles that validate the
vote and contribute data to the blockchain
3) How will oracles be able to verify the authenticity of a vote
and what kind of oracles are suitable for this purpose?
4) Other thoughts are very welcome
