-- From what I gather, Affordable Care Act doesn't prevent
insurances from placing restrictions on certain services. Are
there fewer restrictions under, say, Medicaid or Medicare? If
so, would there be fewer restrictions if we were to go to
something like Medicare for all? If there isn't an immediately
clear voting issue here, I'd like to include some insight about
protections for preexisting conditions and lifetime caps
because I would imagine those are major issues for people with
disabilities and they're timely.
-- In terms of early/absentee voting for people with
disabilities, are these policies set by states? Could the
federal government, in theory, standardize the process for
absentee or mail-in ballots? Or require all states to offer
early voting?
