I'm working on a story about ways to tell if your travel company
is taking sanitation seriously. Some hotels and car rental
companies, for example, have begun using seals to indicate that
an area has been cleaned. But is there a way to independently
verify something is clean? I'd be interested in hearing about
your experience. Did you see a seal on your door when you
checked into a hotel? Did it assure you that your room was
clean? Did you have any questions about how clean it was? From
experts, I'm interested in knowing if you think the travel
industry's current cleaning methods are enough? Are they being
independently verified? Should there be more transparency, and
if so, how should that be done?
