1) Summary: Should DeFi projects move tokens to protect user funds against hacks?

Name: Julia Magas CoinTelegraph

Category: High Tech

Email: query-bfah@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: CoinTelegraph

Deadline: 7:00 PM EST - 23 October

Query:

The recent KuCoin hack and OKEx incident raised questions of how
blockchain projects with coins traded on exchanges should act
when exchanges are hacked or compromised. And most importantly,
are they able to perform such actions as freezing user funds if
they are truly decentralized?

Requirements:

I'm looking for DeFi projects affected by the hacking incident
that could provide their answers to the following questions:

1) Why do you think the decision to freeze user funds/implement
a hard fork was the best solution to react to the hacking
incident?

2) Did you consider your users' opinion before making a decision
to perform a hard fork/freeze tokens?

3) What was the final result of the chosen tactics? Would you do
the same in case of the next hacking incident?

4) Did you receive any critics from your users for freezing
tokens/implementing a hard fork? Or did the community react
positively to this instead?

Any other thoughts on the matter are more than welcome. If your
project didn't take any action to freeze or block tokens
affected, please, let me know why.

your team produce a specific result (10% more sales, 30% better
