Hi, I'm also interested in hearing from experts -- professors,
industrial psychologists, people with expertise in workplace
demographics and trends -- about the recent McKinsey report
finding that 1 in 4 women are contemplating leaving the
workforce since COVID-19 made an impact on the US. But I would
very much like to hear from people who have experienced this
personally and would be willing to answer a few questions about
it.
I would like to talk to people who are parents but responses
from both moms and dads welcome. I'm looking for some insights
about how this decision might have shaken out in real families.
Such as, if you realized having one parent leave their job to
stay home with the kids, did Dad assume that Mom should stay
home, even if she makes more money? Were couples pragmatic about
which parent should stay home, after careful consideration? Was
Mom pushed out of her job; were the added pressures of COVID
making her feel burnt out, as many parents feel, and led to her
decision to leave? How has the adjustment been?

parents, experts in workplace sociology or psychology

When a company relies on an external recruiting firm to handle
their job searches, regardless of what level the role may reside
in the organization, they're trusting that the firm and its
representatives will reflect favorably on their employer brand.
But will they?
Do you know: How recruiters follow through with top candidates
after a decision has been made and some have not been selected?
What recruiters are telling candidates about your organization
and the people they will be reporting to/working with? How
well recruiters understand reporting structures and how the
final hiring decision will be made?
I've heard a number of "horror stories" recently from candidates
for top positions who have faced these and other situations:
being wooed for several weeks and going through multiple rounds
of interviews before being "ghosted" and not receiving any
additional feedback; being provided with "inside information" on
the personality styles of company leaders/staff members that was
far from favorable; receiving conflicting information about
whether/not the position would be remote; receiving conflicting
information on who the position would be reporting to, etc.
These types of situations don't reflect well on the organization
and its employer brand.
I'm interested in hearing from HR leaders who can share
information on: Situations they've faced when they've
discovered that a recruiter's actions (or inaction) were not
reflecting well on the brand. Steps they take to ensure they
remain aware of recruiters' processes and communications to
ensure their actions (or inaction) is reflecting well on the
brand--e.g. have you ever done "mystery shopping" (included a
candidate to go through the process to assess it from the
employer standpoint) or other means of getting first-hand
information about the actual candidate experience? The degree
to which they believe this is an issue that organizations need
to be alert to and how they can select and work most effectively
with an agency to minimize the odds that this would happen.
I'm also interested in hearing from candidates who have faced
these types of situations and can share details about what
happened, how it affected their perspective of the organization
and what, if anything, they did to alert the company to their
experiences.

Companies have had to pivot in many ways since the coronavirus
emerged. T&D is one key area that is feeling the impact as they
seek new ways to ensure effective training for employees who may
be largely remote. AR and VR may offer opportunities, here,
especially for training that would otherwise have required
on-the-job, in-person interactions. I'm interested in hearing
from T&D , HR and educational professionals who can address the
use of AR and VR in employee training. What is it being used
for? Is it being more now that many employees are remote? What
are the pros/cons? What best practices have you uncovered? Do
you have examples of training that you've done and results
you've achieved?

I will not be conducting interviews for this piece. Please share

Query:
I am writing an article on a number of passive income
investments. The idea is to provide new investors with
foundational knowledge about how passive income investments may
free up their time to focus on subsequent investment
opportunities. The article is intended to help investors seek
passive, alternative forms of income that may supplement active
forms of income/investing.
I am looking for an expert's opinion on a number of topics: In
addition to the stock market and income investing, what other
ways can investors make money passively? What sort of active
investments should investors consider with the time they have
created from other passive investment strategies? Why would
someone choose to invest actively over passively? What benefits
do active investments have over passive investments, and vice
versa? How can someone decide the proper diversification
between active and passive investments? At what point in
someone's life should they consider transferring from active
investments to passive investments, and how should the
transition take place?
Requirements:
Looking for responses from investors, real estate professionals,
or anyone with experience on the subject of passive investment
strategies. Any advice you have on the topic would be greatly
appreciated.

It's not always easy to keep your cool when the market gets
volatile. That's especially true for newer investors who haven't
yet experienced first-hand market turbulence.
With that in mind, what action should an investor take (or not
take!) when the market crashes?
This article will share professional advice for early-stage
investors. Please respond with your best piece of advice (or
more, if you like!).

TOPIC: With a Poor Reputation, How Likely are You to be Believed
When You ARE Telling the Truth
ANGLE: when you have a badly damaged or rotten reputation, how
likely is it that you will be believed, even when you are
telling the truth? What can you do to have people consider that
you might be truthful when your reputation says that you have
forfeited trust and believability? (this article is inspired by
a story in the news)
SEEKING: psychologists, professors, social scientists, authors,
PR professionals, etc.
THE INTERVIEW: seeking someone who will be receptive to and
responsive until a brief email interview is concluded.
THE PUBLICATION: Reputation Specialists Essays, a new
publication I've launched. This will be issue number 4. I will
also republish on LinkedIn (6000+ followers) and could also
publish on Thrive Global. I might also pitch a rewritten version
of the article to major newspapers and online magazines. If you
have any editor contacts you feel comfortable sharing, that
would be helpful.
Requirements:
INTRODUCTION: please precisely and concisely introduce yourself
and your expertise, as if we are casually conversing, not as if
it is a sales pitch or interview. Thank you very much. :) Michael
