1) Summary: "5 Things You Need To Delegate Effectively and Be Completely Satisfied With the Results"

Name: Yitzi Weiner Authority Magazine

Category: Business and Finance

Email: query-bag3@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: Authority Magazine

Deadline: 7:00 PM EST - 15 October

Query:

Dear Friends Authority Magazine is starting a new interview
series called

"5 Things You Need To Delegate Effectively and Be Completely
Satisfied With the Results" . Full description here
https://bit.ly/2HjOT4q

The ability to effectively delegate can be one of the most
effective tools a good leader can use. Without the ability to
delegate one becomes "the bottleneck of their own success".
While this is of course true, delegating can be hard and
requires a great deal of trust in one's team. There is also the
persistent voice in one's head that argues that "if you want
something done right you need to do it yourself". So indeed,
how do leaders delegate effectively in a way that allows them to
be completely satisfied with the results?

We would like to interview successful CEOs, founders, and
business leaders who can share advice from their own experience
about "5 Things You Need To Delegate Effectively and Be
Completely Satisfied With the Results"

The interview series will have two stages.

All of the full interviews will be published in Arianna
Huffington's Thrive Global and Authority Magazine, and they will
look like the following:

https://medium.com/authority-magazine/how-holly-oneill-of-bank-of-america-tackles-the-extreme-work-life-balance-of-being-a-woman-a3c4503bd5d4?source=friends_link&sk=8dfa9d3e55384c6cb1d00661fdfabf33

In addition, after the all interviews are completed, an article
featuring the best ideas will be submitted to Buzzfeed and
Entrepreneur.com, like these we have done:

https://www.entrepreneur.com/slideshow/345415
https://www.entrepreneur.com/slideshow/340907

The Buzzfeed article will look similar to this:

Individuals who are accepted for this series will be featured in
at least 2 - 4 articles.

Yitzi Weiner, Charlie Katz & Jerome Knyszewski will be the
primary lead for the series. Most interviews will not require
phone interviews and can be done by email. Requirements:

We would like to interview successful CEOs, founders, and
business leaders who can share advice from their own experience
about "5 Things You Need To Delegate Effectively and Be
Completely Satisfied With the Results"

Please leave your pitch below so that we do not miss your
email. (The text of your submission will be a pitch for an
interview, and will not be used in the actual article)

12) Summary: Using design and simulation software in a pandemic

Name: Jim Romeo Digital Engineering

Category: Business and Finance

Email: query-bciu@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: Digital Engineering

Deadline: 7:00 PM EST - 6 October

Query:

I'm on assignment for Digital Engineering magazine
9https://www.digitalengineering247.com/)and am writing a feature
about how engineers are using design and simulation software
tools, in various ways during a world pandemic. While COVID-19
continues to infect the world, the simulation and design
community have seen some tacit good as a result of it. Design
and simulations have used additive manufacturing to find quick
but effective solution related to the pandemic.

From hospital 3D printing labs, to college and university
campuses, to folks working out of their spare room or garage,
everything from acrylic shields to tiny temperature devices have
come about - when they may never have come about before. Design
software, simulation software, and additive manufacturing have
converged, by demand, to create solutions. This could be the
start of something big and suggestive of how urgency and digital
engineering intellect adopt one another.

In time of crisis, innovation just may be flourish.

This article would explore this topic and is open to all facets
of the story. I've outlined a few questions. Can you get
back to me by COB 8 October? 1. What is your name, title,
organization, and geographic location? 2. Any images to
accompany your responses? 3. How are design and engineering
software simulation solutions being used to mitigate, control,
and help resolve the pandemic? Can you provide any anecdotes 4.
What has the pandemic taught us about the role of technology and
solving world problems? 5. Anything else you 'd like to add?

Organizations are pushing for more diversity. For the first few

responsibility -- whether you want it or not."

For some, the pandemic has relieved this pressure. Instead of

If you have had a similar experience (or, indeed, a
contradictory one), I'd love to speak to you.

pre-pandemic experience 3) How the pandemic and moving to remote
work has affected your experience at work

38) Summary: Seeking Entrepreneur Journeys

Name: Sheldon Chi One Million by One Million

Category: Business and Finance

Email: query-bchz@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: One Million by One Million

Deadline: 7:00 PM EST - 6 October

Query:

Hi, My name is Sheldon Chi. I am responsible for coordinating
stories for the 1Mby1M blog [1mby1m.com]]. The Entrepreneur
Journeys (EJ) series is our flagship series and we're looking
for interesting companies with at least $5 million in annual
revenue to feature in lengthy feature stories. We are interested
in interviewing the entrepreneur who can and is willing to
discuss, at length, the nuances of the strategy and process of
company building, spanning topics such as bootstrapping,
financing, positioning, customer acquisition, channels, team
building, etc. To pitch, please provide revenue level, industry
(Our interests: E-Commerce, Cloud Computing, SaaS, Mobile,
Social, Big Data, IoT, FinTech, Digital Media, Gaming,
Healthcare IT, Online Education, etc.) and focus of the story
angle in terms of company-building experience. We use the
revenue level as a qualification criterion for selecting
entrepreneurs to profile. We don't necessarily have to publish
this number in the actual story. The Entrepreneur Journeys
series has already produced 12 books
(http://tinyurl.com/4p4phwy). You can see examples of the series
on our blog (http://tinyurl.com/d8m9mt). This blog is part of
the One Million by One Million global initiative, whose aim is
to help a million entrepreneurs reach $1 million in annual
revenue. We also use the EJ interviews as case studies to teach
other entrepreneurs how to navigate the entrepreneurial waters.
You get publicity, as well as a platform to share your lessons
from the trenches with a large number of aspiring and practicing
entrepreneurs. 1M/1M has syndication relationships with many
venues: HBR, Xconomy, SmallBizTrends, EconomicTimes (India),
Women 2.0, Mashable, Huffington Post, Business Insider,
ReadWriteWeb, and several other sites. Articles we develop
through these interviews often get repackaged for the
syndication partners. The 1Mby1M blog was named by Forbes in the
Top 100 Blog for Entrepreneurs (http://onforb.es/1a6RkOs). The
procedure is to have a one-hour interview by phone or in-person
in Menlo Park, at our office. We will provide the dial-in for
phone interviews, and the address for the in-person interviews.

Requirements:

When you send in your pitch, please be sure to include the
revenue level, as it is the primary criterion we use to select
stories. Unlike other entrepreneurship media, we do not look for
financing as a criterion for determining story worthiness. Also,
if your revenue threshold is below the $5M level currently, you
are welcome to email me, and I will check if your story might
fit in any of our other series. To give you a flavor, here are
some of our other ongoing series: The 1M/1M Deal Radar: Revenue
between $1M and $5M, high growth rate. We typically do email
interviews for this series. Thought Leader Interviews: We also
have Thought Leader Series opportunities in Cloud Computing,
Cyber Security, Mobile and Social, Big Data, Outsourcing, Online
Education, e-commerce, Gaming, Online Fashion, HealthcareIT,
Internet Of Things, etc. These require, however, that the
company has a minimum of $5M in revenue.
