For the December issue of SIP (The sister magazine to Roseann
Tully's INTERMEZZO), we're looking at the lush and lovely
qualities of porters and other dark beers. Looking for craft
dark beers and imports that are available online or in stores in
several states and why these beers are so perfect for winter
entertaining. Due to the quick turnaround, we are looking to
have photos and product info sent as soon as possible if your
beer/client's beer is a fit:

1. What will surprise non-beer drinkers about dark beers,
especially with their dessert-like qualities, and especially the
one you (or your client) brews? 2. How do the ingredients and
brewing process give your dark beers their dessert-like aromas
and flavor profiles? 3. What are some delicious things to pair
them with--cheese plates, nuts, fruit desserts, chocolate or
coffee based desserts. 4. What are serving tips specific to your
dark beer for optimal flavor? (chilled vs. room temperature,
etc.) 5. Any good appetizer or dessert recipes that use dark
beer as an ingredient (i.e. Guinness's cheese soup and chocolate
cake are famous). 6. Would your dark beer be a good alternative
ingredient for a chocolate or espresso martini? Please provide
recipes and photos if so

Requirements:

High res photos of product in their bottles or cans, paired with
food or with a finished dish if a recipe using dark beer is also
submitted.

Given the short turnaround time, send everything together if
possible.
