1) Summary: Looking for fishing superstitions from around the world

Name: Albert Grain FishingBooker

Category: Travel

Email: query-bao7@helpareporter.net

Media Outlet: FishingBooker

Deadline: 7:00 PM GMT - 27 September

Query:

I'm working on an article about fishing superstitions around the
world. What are the well-known good luck charms in your area,
and what should you never do on or before a fishing trip?

For example, many anglers in the US think that bananas are bad
luck on boats. Some charter boats don't even allow them onboard.

Here's what I need to know about your superstitions:

1. A short description of the superstition and why people think
it's good/bad luck (if you know). 2. How common is it? Is this
something people still believe in? 3. If it's bad luck, is there
a way to counter it?

Requirements:

Please include your name and a link to your website or a social
media channel.
