Dear Friends Authority Magazine is starting a new interview
series called

The Future Of Retail In The Post Pandemic World. Full
description here https://bit.ly/3iF9Xju

The Pandemic has changed many aspects of all of our lives. One
of them is the fact that so many us us have gotten used to
shopping almost exclusively online. With services like Amazon
Prime, Instacart, Grubhub, Uber Eats, what will the future of
retail look like? How will retail outlets create a fate
different than Toys R Us, Sears, Kmart, JCPenney, Neiman Marcus,
J. Crew, Payless Shoes, and Forever21.

We would like to explore the different ideas that large retail
outlets are implementing to adapt to the new realities created
by the Pandemic as well as the "Retail Apocalypse". How will
retail adapt to the enormous pressure created by Amazon Prime?
Will malls continue to exist? What is the role of retail stores?

We would like to speak to executives, C-suites and business
leaders of medium and large retail companies who can share their
vision for retail over the next five years.

The interview series will have two stages.

All of the full interviews will be published in Arianna
Huffington's Thrive Global and Authority Magazine, and they will

Deadline: 2:00 PM EST - 21 September

Query:

Hello. Hope all is well,

My name is Shawn. I am a writer for CNBC Grow, a vertical
dedicated to telling news and practical stories about millennial
money. I'm working on a story about Walmart announcing last week
that it would be giving 165,000 employees a pay raise between
$15 and $30:
https://www.fastcompany.com/90552091/walmart-is-giving-165000-employees-a-pay-rise-between-15-and-30-per-hour.
Using this as a jump off point, we are looking to walk young
people through how they can ask for a raise at their job, too.
I'm hoping to receive a few responses to the below points that
we will use as quotes in the story:

-- How can building your own skillset put you in a better
position to ask for/get a raise?

-- What sorts of steps can you take to learn your own
professional value, financially speaking? (I.e., salary
calculator, interviewing in similar fields.)

-- How to you actually ask for the raise, and when is the right
time, considering companies may be cash strapped due to
Covid-19?

-- Anything you want to add? What is you official title to be
used in the piece?

Please send inquires to: shawn.carter@nbcuni.com All responses
will be reviewed within the time frame, though there will be
some flexibility. Granted we decide to use your quote in the

Please provide written responses to the following:

- Products were expected to be dispensed starting this summer.
What's the hold up? Why haven't dispensaries opened yet? - How
has a lack of open testing facilities impacted progress? - What
is the expected economic impact of the legal market? How much
revenue could Missouri generate? - Why did the state have to
spend so much money against applicants in court? - Many are
blaming the system in place for the court battles. Would you
agree or disagree that the state's program and licensing is
flawed? - If you agree, what needs to be done? - When will
Missouri finally begin sales?

Hi. I am looking for a paragraph or two on either or both of the
two questions below. This is for the enterprise resource
planning print magazine, ERP Today. There is some background to
the overall story:

Shared Services When the concept of shared services emerged in
the early 1980s the idea was simple enough; take the people that
work across horizontal functions for multiple business units or
enterprises, put them in the same room, and ask them to do it
more efficiently. Today, shared services is at the leading edge
of enterprise efficiency driving process optimisation and
managing mission critical functions for global enterprises.
Automation is playing a key role in transitioning SSCs from a
manual farms into high functioning business and value drivers.

And what do enterprises need to focus on to ensure their central

users.
