For an established personal finance site, I'm hoping to hear
from someone who tried to get a refund due to a trip (flight,
hotel, tour etc.) or event (concert, sporting event etc) being
cancelled due to coronavirus.

If this fits your experience, I'd love to know: what/when the
event was, how much you paid in advance, circumstances of the
cancellation, what you did to try to get a refund and what was
your result (full/partial/no refund). I'd also like to know how
you felt about the situation and if you have any tips for others
trying to get refunds.
