With the rise of ESG investing, some investors and investment
professionals are skeptical that strong ESG performance actually
correlates with better financial performance. And absent hard
data, this can be difficult to prove (even if anecdotal evidence
suggests it may be true).
Whether you're an ESG advocate or doubter, you'd probably agree
that better ESG data would be a good thing to help evaluate
performance (and if you don't, I'd love to hear why).
