anniversary meals? A restaurant you love so much, you hosted
your wedding there (or wanted to -- until Covid-19 put the
kibosh on large gatherings)? A place where you woo potential
clients or regularly hatch business deals? A place where the
servers know your order before you even sit down? A place that
is such an essential part of your life or your job or your
social circle or your community, you'd be devastated if it
closed? I'm working on a feature story about the sociocultural
importance of restaurants. I'm gathering insight from restaurant
"regulars." If that's you, please reach out.

Requirements:

I'm focused on U.S. restaurants only, but any type will do: fine
dining, roadside hamburger joints, BYOB trattorias, high-end
steakhouses, hole-in-the-wall eateries, trendy neighborhood
cafes, tapas spots, you name it. If you answered "yes" to any of
the above questions, please reach out and tell me your full
name, where you're based, all about your favorite restaurant and
why it's so meaningful to you, and how your relationship with
that restaurant has changed in 2020. Is the restaurant
struggling in the pandemic? Has it shuttered temporarily or
pivoted its business model in a way that surprised or impressed
