Media Outlet: Anonymous

Deadline: 12:00 PM EST - 17 July

Query:

I'm looking for folks to speak to those who live and work in
vacation spots around the world. I'm trying to find out what
these places are like right now in the midst of a changed world
due the COVID-19 pandemic, and I specifically want to hear from
the locals who serve that community.

If you're interested, please reply to this listing with 200-300
words about what life is like right now for you.

Things to keep in mind when speaking on your experience:

--What was the city you live and work in like during peak
vacation times, and what is it like now? --What was your job
before the pandemic hit? --Are you furloughed, unemployed, or
recently back working now? Did you switch jobs if you are
working? --Is everyone in your local industry experiencing the
same sort of setbacks or changes that you are? --How are you
feeling? Are you feeling optimistic, hopeful, angry--all three?
Some other way?

I know this is broad, so if you need any clarification feel free
to hit me up on Twitter @lamour before answering.

Requirements:

I'm looking for folks who live and work in vacation spots around
the world who welcome tourists as a big part of their
businesses.

tour bus in Jamaica, run a bike tour company in Rome, are a
recent back-at-work card dealer in Las Vegas or Atlantic City,
or even in smaller locales, cleaning service workers at bed and
breakfasts on coastal towns, rangers at camp grounds,
anywhere--as long as you live and work there.
