Query:
Thank you for taking the time to read. I am writing a piece for
SF Weekly investigating whether or not the Nextdoor algorithm
encourages people to call the police. The website Nextdoor has
gotten in trouble recently for it's "Karen problem" (quote from
The Verge). This refers to the high amount of posts *about*
needing to or having already called the police to a scene in the
neighborhood as well as the way users police each other. I am
focusing specifically on the high amount of posts *about*
needing to or having already called the police to a scene. I'm
curious if the algorithm might encourage users who click on a
few of posts in this genre to see them over and over again,
promote them in their newsfeed, etc.
Requirements:
Looking for someone who knows how social media algorithms work.
Knowing how they are coded would be great, but more than that I
am curious what is common on social media platforms, what might
be unusual about Nextdoor's algorithm compared to other social
media platforms, and what industry standards are. Someone who
has worked at another social media company or knows a lot about
the social media business space would be ideal.

I am looking for laws, sections of laws and case-laws that
social media influencers need to be aware of. This may be on
divergent topics. There is no bar on the topic, however, you
need to justify how the law and/or case law is relevant for the
influencer.
Requirements:
1. If you are a lawyer, we will prioritize your answer. However
your pitch is the most important and we shall not discriminate.
2. Please provide your name, position and website of your
company or business so that we can attribute you.

Query:
I'm working on a feature article about Forrester's "Six Types of
CISO" framework (https://bit.ly/3hz1Zbs) and am interested in
hearing from more real-world CISOs about their on-the-ground
experiences:
- Do you see yourself in Forrester's framework? i.e. Are you a
transformational CISO, post-breach CISO, tactical/operational
CISO, compliance/risk guru, steady state CISO, and/or
customer-facing evangelist CISO? Or none of the above?
- How useful and applicable do you personally find this
framework? Would you use it in weighing whether or not to accept
a particular CISO job offer? Do you think it can help
enterprises better recruit and retain CISOs that meet their
needs?
- Do you agree with the Forrester analysts that when a CISO is
dissatisfied with their job, and/or when an organization is
dissatisfied with its CISO, that's often because the CISO's
personality doesn't align with the organization's wants and
needs, and vice versa? From your perspective, do you think such
mismatches contribute to high turnover rates in the CISO role?
- Have you ever held a CISO position that was an ideal fit? What
did that look like and how did it come about?
- Have you ever held or considered a CISO position that was a
less-than-ideal fit? Would you say you were one type of CISO,
and the organization was looking for another type? (If your
commentary is sensitive in nature -- i.e. discussing previous
and current professional positions -- I can avoid identifying
you in my article, upon request. Just let me know and we can
discuss.)
Requirements:
Must be a CISO who can speak to their real-world job
experiences. As previously noted, if commentary is sensitive in
nature -- i.e. discussing previous and/or current professional
positions -- I can avoid namingyou in my article, upon request.
Just let me know and we can discuss.)
